DESCRIPTION: 


Join NEDRA colleagues for a roundtable-style discussion on prospect management/relationship management. Open to all interested development professionals, at any experience level, this Think Tank will be driven by an interactive discussion of questions, challenges, and innovative solutions around portfolio development and prospect management. Participants are encouraged to bring and share tips, procedural guidelines, report samples or other tools.



FACILITATOR BIO:


Ruthie Giles is the Senior Researcher for Prospect Management at Mount Holyoke College. She has worked in prospect research and management since 2000. Ruthie has created and successfully implemented prospect management systems at several organizations, tailoring each one to the organization’s unique needs. Prior to working at Mount Holyoke College, she worked at Harold Grinspoon Foundation, The Loomis Chaffee School, and The Williston Northampton School.

  

Suzy Campos is Director of Advancement Research at Amherst College in Massachusetts. She previously held prospect research positions at Harvard University and Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Earlier in her career, she was a Peace Corps volunteer in Morocco, a public and corporate librarian, and an Information Specialist at McKinsey & Company. She earned a BA from UMass-Amherst and an MILS from the University of Michigan. Suzy is Past President and a current Director of the NEDRA board.



DIRECTIONS: 

The Think Tank will take place in Skinner Hall, Room 210 on the Mount Holyoke College Campus.  Skinner Hall is located near the College Gateway - between the north and south ends of campus along Rt. 116.  There are a few visitor parking spots located directly in front of the building on Blanchard Circle.  More visitor parking can be found in the Gorse Children's Center parking lot - which is on Morgan Street (just off 116).

From the south:

  • Travel north on Interstate 91 to Route 202 (Exit 16, Holyoke/ South Hadley).
  • Head north on 202 through Holyoke across the Connecticut River, and around the rotary to the exit marked South Hadley Center-Amherst, Route 116 north.
  • The College is approximately 2.5 miles from the exit.

From the north:

  • Travel south on Interstate 91, take Exit 16, and follow the directions above.

From the Massachusetts Turnpike/I-90, east or west:

  • Take Exit 5 (Holyoke/Chicopee) and bear to the right.
  • At the end of the ramp, turn left on Route 33 for five miles to Route 116.
  • Turn right onto 116 and drive approximately 1.5 miles north to the College.
