Regional Interest Networking Group (RING): Proactive Research

Wednesday September 28, 2011
3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

You’ve been hearing about the importance of proactive research practices for years now and you’ve set up some news alerts to try to capture important changes in your prospects’ lives and careers. You’ve initiated peer-to-peer working relationships with your colleagues in development. So now, you are a little curious…is there more you should be doing to make sure research plays an integral role in moving prospects through the fund raising pipeline? What changes would make research more valuable to your organization? This RING is intended to help both experienced and new research professionals connect with those who are faced with similar challenges and who may have some strategy that has worked for them and could work for you. Sharing your ideas and experience will be valuable to your colleagues at other institutions, too. This is your opportunity to be part of a dynamic discussion. Bring your business card to swap with others; Bring several copies of any documents you’d like to share.
