Bryce Mullins, a Harvard student with a diverse financial background, and Karen Rowe, senior research analyst at Harvard University, will facilitate a discussion and Q&A on commercial real estate. Topics likely to be discussed include: real estate investment trusts (REITs), private equity real estate (PERE), compensation in the commercial real estate industry and current trends.

Bryce Mullins:
Bryce R. Mullins is an undergraduate at Harvard University, where he will graduate in May 2016. While a student at Harvard he has worked as a research assistant and planned giving aide in the Alumni Affairs & Development Office. Much of his research focuses on the banking, private equity, hedge fund, and real estate industries. He was formerly a managing partner at Black Diamond Capital Investors LLC, a long/short hedge fund formed and managed in a Harvard dorm room. In March he joined the Harvard Management Company as an intern in the Estates & Special Investments department.
Karen Rowe:
Karen Rowe is a senior research analyst at Harvard University’s Office of Alumni Affairs and Development. At Harvard Karen works closely with the president’s office, the art museums and capital giving fundraisers. Karen has more than ten years of experience in prospect research. She is a graduate of Bates College.
