2005 Ann Castle Award Recipient: Sandra Larkin
Sandra Larkin is a fundraising consultant and prospect research expert with more than 20 years of nonprofit experience. Since 2018, she has been the Assistant Director of Prospect Research for Stanford University Medicine, supporting Stanford Medical School and Stanford Hospital as a remote employee based in Massachusetts. She founded Larkin Research Associates in 1995 to provided research services to nonprofit clients across the U.S. and in Europe, and was self-employed for many years. Sandra joined NEDRA in 1989 at her first prospect research job, wrote her first book review for NEDRA News in 1991, and took over as editor in 1992, a position she held until 2000. Sandra joined NEDRA’s board of directors in 1993 and served three two-year terms. She has attended at least a dozen NEDRA conferences and spoken at several. She considers joining NEDRA and getting involved as a volunteer as one of her smartest professional decisions. Sandra graduated from Emerson College and is a published poet. |
