International Research: Asia

This session on international research will focus on Asia. We will discuss resources and techniques for finding prospect information in East and South Asia, and will touch on philanthropic trends in those regions.
After the program, attendees are welcome to explore Asian art in the museum's collection. At 12:15, there will a tour of the museum's Ying Yu Tang House, a 200 year old Chinese house.
PRESENTER:
Laura Parshall
Laura is an assistant director of prospect research at MIT, where she leads a team of five researchers. She has specialized in international research since 2009, and has worked at MIT since 2006. Laura has a master’s degree in journalism from Boston University, and a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from George Washington University.
