Have you wondered which SEC forms can help you gain a better understanding of your prospect’s capacity? Do you know the basics of the Form 4 but aren’t sure how to read the footnotes and what the codes mean? Do you want to learn how to estimate a finance professional’s compensation? Have you heard of SPACs but want to learn more?

After this course, you will be able to:

1) access and interpret commonly encountered SEC filings such as: the ADV Form, DEF 14 and Proxy Filings, Form 4 and Form S-1;

2) understand how to use the information you find and how it fits into your prospect’s broader wealth picture.

PRESENTERS:

Meghan Hakanson is assistant director of research at Harvard University where she has worked since 2012. Meghan also serves on her reunion committee for her undergraduate alma mater, Dickinson College, where she is involved with solicitation, marketing and reunion planning. She also, currently serves as a member of the development committee of New Roads Catholic Community in Belmont, MA.

Sanda Soltan is an assistant director of research at Harvard University, which she joined in 2018 as a research analyst. Sanda started her career in fundraising as a development associate at Boston Children’s Hospital. She holds a BA in Government and German Studies from Smith College and an MA in International Affairs from Boston University. She is currently working towards a Finance Certificate from the Harvard Extension School.
