PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Calling all interns, student workers, volunteers, and anyone who has an interest in learning more about prospect development! Come join us for this FREE webinar where we will provide a basic introduction to the field meant to spark interest, share some simple research techniques, and offer advice on how to begin a career in prospect development. Attendees will come away with:

PRESENTERS:
Emily Donohue has worked in the field of prospect development for over 17 years and is the Senior Director of Prospect Management and Research at UMass Boston. She was previously Director of Prospect Development at Simmons University. Emily has also held positions in prospect development at Emmanuel College and Combined Jewish Philanthropies. She currently serves as Vice President of the NEDRA Board of Directors and is a past co-chair of the programming committee. Emily received a BA in history from Kenyon College and an MLS from Simmons University.
Pamela McCarthy has spent over 20 years in the prospect development and fundraising field, working in higher education, the arts, mission-driven organizations, and healthcare. She currently serves as the Associate Director of Prospect Research at Beth Israel Lahey Health. When she is not working you can find her writing or gardening.

LOCATION:
Attendees will receive a Zoom link a day before the event; this program will be held as a Zoom meeting.
