PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Organizations of any size can benefit from utilizing features of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to create meaningful reporting tools and research deliverables. Microsoft Excel provides an extensive range of functions to analyze data. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn to use Microsoft Excel to combine and compare different data sets, filter and slice data, create visual aids to communicate KPIs and better understand donors and fundraising goals. The workshop will then utilize Microsoft Word to translate and convert the data into briefings, event bios, and directories to be shared with organizational stakeholders such as gift officers and senior leadership. PRESENTER:
Jamie Lewis (she/her/hers) is a senior prospect management and research analyst at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Prior to joining the Harvard Chan School in 2017, she worked in a small shop development office of a human services nonprofit and as a legislative aide at the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Jamie holds a BS from Seton Hall University in criminal justice and philosophy and an MS in business management from Eastern Nazarene College.
