“Donor Screening” immediately conjures visions of lots of dollars – money going out, not coming in. While it is certainly true that donor screening using an outside vendor can be a significant financial investment, there are many ways to lessen or reduce that budgetary impact while improving your organization’s knowledge of your constituents. We will look at how peer screening, self-screening, and targeted vendor screening enable organizations to identify good fund-raising prospects while maximizing the impact of limited resources. The discussion will include techniques and resources for verifying the results of screening efforts.
