Would you like to better utilize Excel in your day-to-day work? Attendees to this hands-on workshop, held in a computer lab, will learn Excel features through an assignment that is specifically targeted to prospect researchers and portfolio managers: to create documents for a portfolio review.
During the session, you will learn basic and advanced Excel tricks including: formatting tools (e.g. conditional formatting, freezing panes, cell styles); manipulating data (e.g. removing duplicates, flash fill, filters); formulas (e.g. vlookup, if statements); and the grand finale….pivot tables and charts! By the end of the program, you will have made sample portfolio review documents, having taken raw data on a gift officer’s prospects and having used Excel to turn that data into a dashboard and an easy-to-read report.
Come build your Excel skills….and impress your gift officers!
Note: This program is a recommended prerequisite for the Building a Major Gift Model Using Microsoft Excel program on 10/19.
